Finding Life After Grief

After losing my wife of 42 years from an extended illness, I wanted to get my life back.  I wasn't sure just how to go about doing that.  I bumbled through, and finally was able to get my things in order.  I finally found my way back into society, but felt there was no one to help.  For this reason I am launching this website.  I now am able to see what I did not know until I had gone through this great loss.

One of the things that I found was that no one knew the deep sorrow that comes from loving a spouse, and then losing that person to death.  I had lost loved ones to death, but it wasn't the same.  Losing a loved one hurts bad enough, but to me the death of my wife was the ultimate hurt anyone should have to suffer.

I want to help the people who have lost that special loved one, and has suffered that ultimate sense of loss.

My purpose for this website is to help start the healing process, and to possibly give answers to the many questions that you may have after you have lost your spouse to death.

Who We Are

This is a website that is geared to those who may think that what they have done after the loss of a loved one was eccentric or not normal for anyone.  I want to assure you that you are not alone.  I have had those thoughts as I believe many others have had. 

We want to help others with the fears and misgivings they have, and to help them with getting their life back together after losing a loved one.

There are three things that we must remember when we have lost a loved one.

1.  It is Real.

2.  It is Irreversible.

3.  It is Permanent

These three statements may seem cold, but when you are having trouble getting on with your life, it might help you to remember that you are still alive.
